    MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Stanford University

    The MasterCard Foundation education initiative at Stanford University USA will provide comprehensive support to 20 talented but economically disadvantaged students from Africa over the next eight years to gain scholarships in USA. The Scholars Program will support five (5) undergraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa each year.

    Arizona State University welcomed 10 undergraduate students from seven African nations in 2012, as the first class of MasterCard Foundation Scholars to begin studies at ASU.

    International Loper Scholarship

    The University of Nebraska at Kearney provides international students who choose to study abroad with support for undergraduate degrees in any field. The rewards are given in various numbers and range in value from $4,095 to $16,380. First-year students, undergraduate transfer and re-enrollment students, and international degree-seeking students are all eligible.

    Fulbright Foreign Scholarships

    Graduate students and artists from other countries can study and carry out research in the US thanks to the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.     The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program, which was established in 2012, enables students whose talent and promise beyond their financial capabilities to finish their studies. The Program supports Scholars academically, socially, and financially. Tuition, lodging, books, and other academic supplies are all included in financial support. Within eight to ten years, it is estimated that 15,000 young people will benefit from the scholarship program at the secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Some of the universities taking part in the scholar’s program are the University of Michigan, the University of California, Arizona State University, Wellesley University, and Duke University.

    Rotary Peace Fellowship for Masters and Professional Programs

    Rotary chooses individuals every year to earn fully-funded academic fellowships at one of its peace centres. These individuals come from all across the world. These grants pay for all internship and field study costs as well as lodging and board, round-trip transportation, and tuition and fees. At Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and other U.S. and non-US universities, up to 50 master’s degree fellowships may be given out. The curriculum lasts for 15 to 24 months.

    Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship Program

    Women and men from poor nations who are pursuing master’s degrees in development-related fields and have relevant professional experience are eligible for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program. Each year, a number of scholarships are presented. The scholarship pays for all of the costs associated with earning a master’s degree, including tuition, round-trip air travel, a $500 travel allowance, basic health and accident insurance, and a monthly stipend to cover living expenses. The scholarship has a two-year maximum term.

    Payne International Development Graduate Fellowships in USA

    The University of Minnesota offers a fellowship program for individuals interested in pursuing a two-year degree in international development or another area related to USAID’s mission. The scholarship provides up to $24,000 a year for tuition and other expenses for finishing a two-year master’s degree at a U.S. university, in addition to an annual stipend of $18,000 for academic purposes. This opportunity is open to American citizens who aspire to work in international development or similar fields.

    Charif Souki Global Energy Fellowship

    The Charif Souki Global Energy Fellows Program for the academic year 2022–2023 has been developed by the Center for Global Energy Policy at Columbia University for the best graduate students who are interested in pushing careers in the energy sector.

    Participation in this fellowship program is open to those who hold leadership positions and who are knowledgeable and fluent in matters of energy and climate policy. To be considered, applicants must be enrolled full-time at Columbia University as graduate students. The chance for in-depth discussions on significant and topical energy-related topics with academics and a summer internship will be provided for those who are chosen.
